EBG MedAustron GmbH in Wiener Neustadt operates one of the most modern centers for particle therapy and research in Europe. Cancer patients are treated with an innovative form of radiation therapy with protons and carbon ions. In addition to cancer treatment the facility is also used for translational research.

 

Our Medical Device Affairs team is responsible for the implementation of the Quality Management System according to EN ISO 13485, for the compliance with the Medical Device Directive as well as for the system architecture of our therapy accelerator.

Technical Development Project Lead (f/m/x)

full-time (40 hours weekly)

Challenges you conquer:


Be responsible for the successful product development of our particle accelerator for an ion beam therapy center in the Middle East as a technical development project lead, which involves:

  • Perform requirements management
  • Set up risk and test management
  • Ensure the full technical documentation required for the certification
  • Initiate and coordinate product development sub-projects
  • Be responsible for the successful project progress by
    • Project planning (resources, time, quality)
    • Project controlling & reporting
    • Project coordination and communication mainly within the company and our subsidiary

A background that impresses:


  • University degree, ideally with a technical focus
  • 5 or more years of occupational experience
  • Solid skills in project management, preferably in regulated areas with high safety requirements, such as medical technology
  • Experience in product development and development processes as well as working with Quality Management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 13485)
  • Sound understanding of regulatory affairs
  • Fluent in verbal and written communication in English. German is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills in an interdisciplinary and international environment as well as intercultural competencies
  • You are a team-worker and problem solver that is driven by self-initiative and keeps the overview over different tasks
  • Excellent planning and organization skills complete your profile
  • Willingness to do business trips inside and outside of Europe up to appr. 20%

For the advertised position we offer a gross annual salary from € 50.000,-- (on a full-time) with the possibility of overpayment, depending on professional qualifications and experience.
